This long, narrow pub, built over 200 years ago as a coaching inn, stands at the edge of a heath. The beamed, farmhouse-style interior is divided into several separate seating areas. At the rear is a long, narrow, sheltered garden with a children's play area. Food is served all day; occasional themed weeks such as pies, game & lamb. Sunday night is quiz night, and the pub runs a golfing society. Ringwood Best Bitter is a regular, supplemented by Hall & Woodhouse beers - Tanglefoot or Fursty Ferret will be one of those.
