Renamed the "Hop Star Bar and Beer Store" following the opening of a second "Al's Star Bar" (now "Al's Mars Bar") in August 2022 at the western end of the same street. Music-themed bar located on the main road that passes through the shopping area of Saltaire. It comprises a front room on the ground floor containing the bar and a deceptively spacious room to the rear which can be hired for functions. Additional street-side seating is provided outside the front of the building. Two handpumps provide a varying range of real ales usually from the local Saltaire Brewery. Eight keg taps are present and cocktails are also offered. The music played tends to be of the 80's/indie variety. Live music is played on Sunday evenings and occasionally on other nights also. Children are welcome until early evening and the bar is dog friendly. Opening and closing times are valid from Jan 2024 as detailed on the bar's Facebook page.
