Situated on the main Harrogate to Bradford road with views across lower Wharfedale, this is a single-storey building looking slightly out of place in Yorkshire. The large open-plan interior incorporates a raised area at one end with a warming real fire during the colder months. The long bar houses an array of handpumps dispensing a varied selection of ales sourced mainly from Yorkshire breweries. There is a pool table and video juke box at one end of the main bar. Well-behaved children are allowed in the pub until 6pm accompanied by an adult.
