Pub, but runs much more like a restaurant
Taken over by McMullens Brewery in May 2013 and after a period of closure it reopened in May 2014 primarily as a restaurant, with prices to match. All service is by waiters and you are not able to purchase drinks at the bar, although there are a few tables there for drinkers or diners waiting to be seated. Drinkers are catered for, but if busy you may have to wait. Located on the banks of Mytchett Lake as part of a water-skiing complex, with a lovely view across the lake, where you can watch the birds and water-skiers. As you would expect there is plenty of outdoor seating and large picture windows overlooking the Lake. Also an outside bar in the summer. Inside there are lots of nooks and crannies on various levels with an eclectic but tasteful mix of decorative artefacts; including outboard motors at the bar and other nautical items. The available beers may vary within the McMullens range.
This Pub serves no changing beers (occasionally) and 1 regular beer.
