This historic, attractive thatched pub stands at the gateway to the Isle of Purbeck. Formerly a butchers shop, this 17th-century village inn hosted Cromwell's troops in 1642. An excellent menu of both modern and traditional classics is served in the beamed bar or dedicated restaurant. Four handpumps dispense two regular beers and two well chosen guests. The garden and patio area are a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the summer sunshine and hosts the annual beer festivals and bonfire party.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
