Traditional village inn dating from 1760 overshadowed by the impressive Norman steeple of St Serf's Church which contains the ancient Dupplin Cross and other Pictish relics. One or two ales in the small cosy public bar come from a variety of Scottish independents, as well as English and Welsh regional breweries. They have their own Real Ale called Risky Kelt. Craft ale drinkers are also well catered for with an interesting choice. There is a separate restaurant.
