A Grade II listed Georgian terrace building with cosy interior with beamed ceilings and an open log fire with an unusual canopy. The front bar offers a variety of seating, and at the rear of the pub there is a skittle alley, function room and sports bar. There is a small patio in front and bus route 12 from the city centre stops nearby. Accommodation is available as well as food including a Sunday Carvery roast dinner. Usually four ales available.
