An unspoilt free house retaining the atmosphere of a country pub from bygone days and owned by the same family for many years. The bar is hung with hops and warmed by two log fires and a stove. The large orchard garden catches the evening sun. Excellent food is sered from a popular menu. Perry and local Double Vision cider are stocked. Well-behaved children and dogs are welcome. It is 15 minutes walk from the Cross-at-Hand (No.5) bus stop on the A229.
