Sitting opposite the old GWR Station this sometime local CAMRA Pub and Cider Pub of the Year has been transformed into a real ale haven. Offering up to five beers (and ciders) sourced from regional and microbreweries: for the discerning drinker, it's a rare outlet for Corinium Ales. There is also a well socked fridge with interesting cans and bottles in conjunction with its sister shop, Phoenix Wines. Brewery memorabilia adorns the walls, with pews and a deep-set fireplace adding character. The ceiling is slowly disappearing behind the encroaching pump clip collection. The small sheltered patio at the rear is used for BBQ's during their beer festivals.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
