Formally the Lamb Inn, which name stretches back for over 180 years. In 1938 the original pub was demolished and set further back from the road. The new building is typical 'Brewery Tudor', not at home with Melbourne vernacular. The original Lamb Inn name came from Dunnicliff's butcher's shop (as in the 'lamb to slaughter') which also operated on the site.
The pub interior has three distinct areas; a saloon and main bar to the front and a large saloon to the rear. The central bar serves the bar and saloon areas. There is a large mostly-paved garden to the rear.
The pub closed in August 2017 and re-opened in December 2017 as the Melbourne Inn.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
