Originally a 16th century timbered farmhouse which now houses the bar area, and extensively extended over the centuries. On the other side of the building from the car park is a large garden with a stage, popular in summer for enjoying drinks served by an outside bar.

Meals are served all day. Menus can be viewed on the pub website and a carvery is available on Sundays.

Two beers are from the Marston's range including from Ringwood.

Converted grade II listed 16th century farmhouse incorporating what appear to be sailing barge timbers in the bar area
