Loud music pub in the corner of the Market Place. Large comfortable bar with access to outside courtyard drinking area. Three handpumps but currently out of use. At the rear of the building is outside courtyard seating and access to Silver Street..

Real ale has not been available for some time (2021/2022). Early 2023 was repainted & decorated inside, at the same time returning to it's original name of The Old George, although it is still shown as The Courtyard on the Silver Street side. The handpumps with turned round clips remain & may be brought back into use in the future.
