The Olde Sun is a 16th century sandstone building situated on the edge of this scenic village where maypole dancing, craft shows and village fetes are still alive and thoroughly enjoyed. The entrance is via an old wooden door with a tiled floor. The bar is straight in front with a carpeted games area to the left (skittles and darts) and a cosy seating area to the right, in front of a roaring fire. This area has a mixture of old wooden flooring with a large rug in the centre. The pub also has another bar area to the rear which is split on two levels with its own bar plus another skittles table. There is a restaurant where the chef uses locally sourced produce and seasonal vegetables to create a plethora of classic and original dishes, sure to tempt even the fussiest of eaters.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
