This is a popular sports pub at the top end of Lord Street making it an ideal first stop for drinks before town. It serves good food at reasonable prices. A family run pub not tied to any breweries makes it popular with real ale drinkers. The pub has plenty of traditional games, a Poker night on Monday and Wednesday, Darts team Tuesday, and also live music on Friday's. All top football games are shown on various plasma TV screens scattered about the pub, also a large screen for special matches.A great Family pub.
