Long-fronted, three-storey roadside pub dating from 1828. The emphasis is on good value pizza & carvery food, but real ale still plays its part. The occasional guest ale is from national brewers. Two large dining areas are to both left and right of the compact bar area, featuring old Tamworth photographs. One room has an old, open-firebox cooking range, sadly unused. Extensive grassy beer garden, leading to a wildfowl-rich flood plain of the River Anker.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
