Handpumps removed once again in summer 2022January following what had been a welcome return for real ale iin 2018 n this distinctive pub after several years' absence.
Historically known as the Greyhound and named Greyhound Brewery when famously a brewpub for a while in the 1980s and 1990s brewing Greyhound Bitter, Streatham Strong and Streatham Dynamite, plus 'XXX Pedigree Mild' OG 1036-1038, possibly the only mild brewed in London at the time, according to its brewer.
Renamed in 2017 as a destination for families, with an Alice in Wonderland theme including striking murals of rabbits and roses on both internal and external walls. It does still have some period features, including the ceiling and plasterwork cornice, and a decent patio garden at the side.
