A large, traditional two bar pub with wooden furnishings. Now a Free House since being sold by Adnams (2015). The main bar at the front is traditionally furnished. There's a games and sports bar to the rear with a pool table and Sky & BT sport on TV. Lunchtime and evening food is available.
There's a toilet which is accessible to disabled customers.

Also historically listed at Woodbridge Rd. In Mar 1981 edition of Last Orders*** it was reported that Gladys was no longer behind the bar here after 20 years.
