This detached Free House is a popular and lively venue at weekends and is a family oriented pub which is also dog friendly. It has a Beer Garden to the rear and a quiet room back of bar. Ramped pathways give disabled access to the pub. There are usually three ever changing Real Ales on, many from local breweries alongside Timothy Taylor Landlord and Holts Bitter with Happy Hours 4.30pm-6.30pm Mon- Thurs for both ales and pizzas. Food is served every day, except Sunday (check opening times above).They have a Sunday Soul Session on the 3rd Sunday of every month, 4pm – 8pm. Functions are catered for. The pub is situated opposite the Hollinwood Metrolink tram stop and a quarter of a mile from the main A62 Manchester to Oldham road with several bus routes nearby, notably 76, 83, 84 and 159. It is also adjacent to junction 22 of the M60 motorway.
