A family run pub that serves food and quality beers in a convivial atmosphere. It is very handy for the local railway station on the popular Heart of Wales Line. The drinking area is in an enclosed comfortable sitting area. Food is served in separate dining areas. There are benches in the pleasant garden at the rear of the pub.
Historic Interest
The original parts of the inn were built in 1786. An old painted coat of arms is displayed inside the main front door. An "Air Raid Warden" sign above the front door is a reminder of the second world war.
