Re-opened in July 2014 after a major refurbishment, to an impressive modern and high standard. With its original oak beams, red brick flooring and natural stonework, this Grade II listed building is a major feature of the village.
Whilst it is a food led business, there's plenty of room for casual drinkers in the comfortable and tastefully done out bar. Diners are catered for in two large restaurant areas. Once owned by the very local Shrewsbury & Wem Brewery, the Red Lion also had a 3 year spell in the Good Beer Guide in the 1980s.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
