Comfortable village pub just beyond the edge of the City of Stoke-on-Trent, comprising a small front room for drinkers, plus a larger restaurant at the rear. The bar is decorated with pictures of old film stars and many figurines; note the kittens playing by the fireplace. Food is served Tuesday-Sunday lunchtimes 12noon-2pm and Wednesday-Saturday evenings 6pm-9pm; the guest beers will hail from the usual Marstons list. There is a good size car park to the side, and the pub has it's own post box built into the stonework.
