One of several bars located in the Sunbridgewells tunnels complex, the entrance is at high level off the main central core. The pub is a re-creation of the original pub of the same name that existed prior to the 1970s and the original pub sign is displayed at the entrance. Spread over three floors, the pub is decorated with rich textures of brick and stone and dark wood, giving a warmly elegant and historical feel with cosy nooks incorporated. Medieval memorabilia is present throughout the pub and adorns the walls. Up to six cask beers offered, most often from Mill Valley, and including vegan friendly beers. Old school music is played. There is a disco from 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. May open earlier on days when home football matches occur.
