This former Courage pub lies back from the road with a small paved seating area at the front. A straight bar in a U-shaped room. Re-opened Thursday 6th June 2019 after a long closure and a refurbishment with contemporary cream and grey pastel decorations throughout. Now no car parking or real ale.

The local Round Table hosts a real ale beer festival in the garden in July, organised independently of the pub.
