Located in a modern block built in the 1970s that replaced a building altered by W Ansell in 1887 when St Giles Circus was swept away. There's normally plenty going on of an evening - see venue website under Events. There is a good range of keg beers and the two handpumps serve at least one real ale; the food menu includes burger night and mid-week lunch offers.
