Now owned by Chris Pitcher of the award winning Fox and Hounds in Warminster.

The Royal Oak is a lovely pub, situated on the western fringe of town. Inside there are several drinking area as well as an outside patio garden.

As well as the two 'big brewer' beers they sell Royal Oak Bitter, and there are always plenty of ciders available as well as at least two real ales. Happy hour is from noon to 2pm weekdays when real ale is 50p off every pint.

As from the beginning of Feb'22 a new Indian takeaway, The Royal Bengal, has opened, behind the pub, at the back of the car park.
