Pleasant black and white fronted pub with an Irish flavour overlooking the green. It has light oak flooring and varnished wood panelling. The main area is at the front, with a deep side area leading to a large, enclosed garden at the rear. There is a double-sided iron fireplace in the middle. Converted from two cottages c. 1834. It was once the Thames Ditton and Esher Golf clubhouse. Several screens showing BT and Sky sports. 9-hole Golf Thursday in the summer, live music at weekends. No food at present while new kitchen is installed. Roadside inn sign still shows original name.
