Reopened July 2014 after a major refurbishment. An Inn since 1636 with two bars - one of which is hidden at the rear and accessed between the ladies and gents facilities. The refurbishment has obviously been done at some expense and with the intention of creating a much more modern feel. The resulting effect is one that may split opinion. The front bar has a pale interior with wood effect floor and square wooden tables and stools. The rear bar is more traditional and has a screen showing sports.
