Stone-built listed two-roomed pub set back from the main road on a tight bend in this small border village. It is claimed to have a ghost and a Civil War tunnel from the local church to the pub cellar. The main wooden-floored bar straddles two former rooms, whilst to the left is a separate restaurant area, with all the interior walls also made of exposed stone. There is car park to the rear, although there is also ample parking to the front next to the small green.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (From Charles Wells list) and 2 regular beers.
