This popular and friendly community pub is not far from both the main line and Severn Valley Railway stations, a short walk up the hill, over the railway bridge and in the first side street on the right.
Two rooms are served from a central bar and there is a large beer garden at the rear.
It has a good reputation for excellent home-cooked food sourced from local suppliers available during the day, and traditional roast dinners on Sundays.
Quiz night is on the first Thursdays and there is also a resident football team. It has won many local CAMRA awards including Community Pub of the Year 2015 and Pub of the Year Finalist 2016 and 2017 for its friendly community atmosphere.
Four beers are available including mainly from local breweries as well as occasional national brands.
