Village pub with a modern feel serving upmarket pub food. It is divided into two rooms, one exclusively for diners and the other for food and for those who just want a drink. The guest beers are sourced mostly from Wessex area breweries, the house beer 'Tally Ho!' was from the village's own 4-barrel brewery (Test Brewing) but brewing there has ceased so it will now be another beer. There is usually a draught cider available during summer time. Quizzes, meat draws, live music and a beer festival are hosted here and there is a customer loyalty scheme. Children and dogs are welcome.
