Perched on the edge of an escarpment south of Lincoln, the pub is close to the Viking Way long-distance path. At its heart is a three-sided bar. Picture windows along one side provide panoramic views towards the Trent. Outside is a patio and a beer garden. In winter, two log burners add to the cosy feel. Meals from an extensive menu can be enjoyed in the bar or the restaurant, plus an outdoor kitchen offering a BBQ menu open Saturday and Sunday from 3.00pm till 8.00pm. Monthly quiz and open mic nights are held. Situated on the Viking Way, walkers and dogs welcome.
