The appropriately named Trading Room, linked to its rich financial past, was originally a Natwest bank. The venue is situated on the corner of London Road and Crowstone Road in Westcliff-on-Sea. The pub and restaurant's past goes back to more affluent times, which can still be seen in the local architecture of the surrounding residential properties, when there was a bank on every corner. The Trading Room offers up to 4 real ales including house beer East Angler Ale from Caledonian Brewery, one rotating guest from George's and a selection of fine malt whiskies, complemented by an exceptional wine list. The menu offers fantastic, freshly cooked, Traditional & Modern pub dishes at brilliant value for money. The Trading Room boasts live music nights, real ale festivals, free WiFi and provides the perfect establishment for any occasion. Happy hour 5-8pm Monday to Friday and 2 for 1 cocktails 8-10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Complementary bar snacks after 5pm. Original stained glass windows can still be seen in the ceiling
