The Trevor, post refurb the 'Famous' has been dropped (or The Trev as it is known locally) is a traditional pub on what is termed the "fashionable Beech Road". Although the area has seen a pleathora of trendy new bars & restaurants open in recent years, the Trevor has remained true to its roots - a real pub for real people.
A major refurbishment has seen the dividing wall removed which seperated the lounge from the bar so now there is one large room. Some quirky decor has been added, a stags head and vinyl records on the wall are an example.
There are tv screens of various sizes dotted around the room and when the local teams, City or United are on the pub can get quite crowded.
There are eight handpumps on the bar.
A sheltered beer garden at the back provides for outdoor drinking and smoking, although some of the locals seem to insist on smoking in the front doorway, blocking it in the process. This can give the pub an unwelcoming look but make the effort to step past them and you will find most of the regulars are friendly.
This Pub serves 4 changing beers (Beer range varies) and 2 regular beers.
