Owned by the University of Sheffield, this former staff club, converted to a pub in 2007, has an open plan lounge with a bar at one end adjacent to a small alcove seating area, and a conservatory leading to the large garden. There is additional seating upstairs with separate rooms for snooker and darts. Eight cask beers and 13 keg beers. The guest cask beers are mostly sourced locally from breweries like Thornbridge, Triple Point, Abbeydale, Blue Bee, Grizzly Grains, Welbeck, Acorn, Stancil and Bradfield. There are regular beer festivals. Traditional pub food served throughout the week. Entertainment includes a quiz on Tuesday and live blues or jazz some weekends.
