Vixen Pubs (linked to Stonegate) pub adjacent to Thirsk rail station, modernised into one knocked-through opened-out bar, comfortably decorated. Outside drinking area to the front.

Carlton Minniott is a long linear village, stretching for nearly 2 kilometres from Thirsk Station west along the A61. The Vale of York is in the eastern half of the village, close to Thirsk railway station.

Breakfasts served every morning between 10 and 12.
