The pub, recently relocated adjacent to the original cellar bar, is a large room divided into several drinking areas with semi-circular bar. Of note is the remarkable décor utilising antique furniture components. Five handpumps offer assorted ales, usually including one or more from Scarborough Brewery. Up to eight real ciders and perries are also available together with many bottles of Belgian beers. There is also a pool room together with a separate function room. CAMRA National Cider Pub of the Year 2007 and local CAMRA Town Pub of the Year 2005 and 2007. This bar benefits from close proximity to the grounds of Scarborough Athletic FC and can become very busy on match days. The sizeable front beer garden may enhance your enjoyment!
