Small and cosy 19th-century, Grade II-listed tavern, tucked away just off the bottom of Whiteladies Road, next door to the Clifton Lido. Up to seven pumps offer a variety of changing guest beers, including from independent breweries. Often includes a dark beer. Two real ciders available. At least four keg beers are available from local and regional brewers such as Left Handed Giant, New Bristol and Tiny Rebel. Two beer festivals are held annually. Weekly quiz night every Tuesday. Note Summer hours apply out of University terms when the pub opens 1 hour later.
