Well kept traditional single room village pub where little has changed over the years. Pottery & copper vessels hang from the wood-beamed ceilings and there are local photographs from the early 1900's (Bursledon Station and bridge have changed beyond recognition since then). Outside at the back is bench seating on a paved patio and the small gravel area below it.
The pub has a good community spirit, especially Sunday afternoons and is easier to find by walking from the station than by driving. Food consists of traditional pub grub plus pasta, salads, lunchtime snacks, specials and Sunday lunch. Please note that the pub's signboard gives evening opening hours as until 'close' so the pub may close earlier (or later) than 11pm (7pm Sunday).
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
