The pub has a large, open plan, modernised interior and has a good reputation for food.
It's located directly opposite the entrance to the nuclear power stations.
Historic Interest
Historically may sometimes be listed as being in Leiston. An alehouse is recorded in Sizewell as early as 1540, though the current pub building dates from somewhat later. The alehouse was closed down during the Commonwealth era & turned into a blacksmith's, which explains how the name came about when it reopened after the Restoration. Licensed as the Vulcan's Arms in 1974. Adnams brewery took on the pub at the start of the 20th century.
