Bar to the Walton Hotel, a short walk from Canning Circus. Members of the public are welcome for drinks and to eat in the restaurant. The front garden allows views across Derby Road and the inside bar offers a cosy atmosphere, especially on cold evenings. Cask beers can be also found in the back bar when functions occupy the main front bar.

The Walton Hotel is a Grade II listed building (No. 1254794) and is located in Nottingham City Council's Park Conservation Area.
"House and attached coach house, now hotel. c1828-32. By PF Robinson or TC Hine of Nottingham for the 4th Duke of Newcastle. Altered late C20. Stucco with hipped slate roof and 4 coped side wall stacks. Plinth, moulded wooden eaves. Windows are mainly original glazing bar sashes. 2 storeys; 3 window range. Street front has in the centre a doorway with hood, now a glazing bar window. On each side, a bow window, 2 storeys, 3 sashes, with moulded surrounds and cornice to ground floor. Central window to right altered to a French window. Left return has a central square porch with pilasters and entablature, and renewed wooden doorcase with original half-glazed door and overlight. Above it, a single sash. Rear wing, to left, has 3 round-arched glazing bar windows, and above, 2 plain sashes. Right return has attached coach house, single storey, 3 x 2 bay, L-plan. Renewed wooden cupola and 2 original round-arched margin glazed windows. INTERIOR has a stone cantilever staircase with cast-iron balustrade and ramped handrail. 2 ground floor rooms with shutters, plaster ceiling borders and cornices.
