Sited on one of the oldest streets in Leeds Wapentake takes it name from an old word to describe an administrative area, a little piece of Yorkshire if you will. Opening in the morning primarily for the coffee and brunch crowd, not to mention cake, before drinkers arrive later. It is bare boarded throughout it's two floors with plenty of mix and match furniture, downstairs for chat and upstairs for TV. A place for individuality and relaxation a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The food offering includes Yorkshire Pudding burgers. May close early on Wednesdays and Thursdays if not busy. Card payment only.
