Bare floorboards, quarry tiles and stripped pine panelling add to the atmosphere. The pub is 15th Century timber framed with many subsequent extensions. Historic Interest
A report in the Ipswich Journal** on Aug-13 in 1870 when Mr Last was the landlord states that : "James Mouser was sentenced to 3 months hard labour for stealing a coat from the White Horse the property of Walton Brooks."
