The 400-year-old White Horse Hotel was a traditional coaching inn. Sir Arnold Bax (8 November 1883 – 3 October 1953) was a resident at the hotel in the 1940s. The hotel was refurbished in a contemporary style by the present owners in 2009 and now offers 13 bedrooms.
