This unusual hop has one of the highest percentages of alpha acids, giving it a good 'bite'. Summit is a dwarf hop developed in the USA since 2003, so is still new to the market. We have yet to produce formal tasting notes; however the consensus is that the Summit hops are very effective in bittering the brew and giving hints of tangerine to the aroma and flavour.
