Made with the traditional Mild Ale malt variety that was a staple of Midlands bitters and milds in the 1950s, giving a maltier/sweeter beer with greater body than today's 'Bitters' and with a darker hue. Hop bitterness of 38 ebu from Fuggles and Northdown, with Goldings as the late hop.
