Description

Acorn was set up in 2003 with a 10-barrel plant, expanding to 20 barrels when the brewery moved to larger premises. It currently has a 160 barrel a week capacity. All beers are produced using the Barnsley Bitter yeast strain, dating back to the 1850s.
