Big Penny

1 Priestley Way, Blackhorse Lane, Walthamstow, E17 6AL (View on Google Map) 02085333575 hello@bigpenny.co.uk Website

Description

The Truman's Brewery name was revived in 2010 with a brewery established on Fish Island in 2013. After a move to the former Crate brewery, Hackney Wick in 2020, they withdrew from brewing in 2022. A name change to Big Penny coincided with a start to contract brewing at Redchurch. Its Big Penny Social beer hall remains a major presence on the Blackhorse Beer Mile. No cask ale.
