Hook Norton

The Brewery, Brewery Lane, Scotland End, Hook Norton, OX15 5NY (View on Google Map) 01608737210 vc@hooky.co.uk Website

Description

One of the finest examples of a Victorian tower brewery, and the oldest independent brewery in Oxfordshire, Hook Norton has been brewing since 1849. The current premises were built in 1900 and still house much of the original machinery, including a 25hp steam engine. Shire horses make deliveries to local pubs. Family-owned, it combines its heritage with a modern approach. Various parts of the brewery are available for hire and customers can spend a day brewing their own beer.
