Woodland

14 Market Street Penistone, Sheffield, S36 6BZ (View on Google Map)

Description

Established in 2017 producing bottled and keg beers, the brewery moved into cask production in 2019, winning CAMRA awards the same year. Cans were introduced in 2020. Originally brewing from his residence, owner/brewer David Hampshaw soon relocated the two-barrel brewery into a tap house in Penistone town centre. Popularity of the brewery continues to grow and David has secured additional space close by for installaton of a five-barrel brewery. The brewery is named after the highly-prized, local, whitefaced woodland sheep.
