This single room, real pub, has three distinct drinking areas and an outdoor area which proves popular in the summer months. The pub remains the Wiltshire brewers most northern outpost and carries two of its beers amongst its impressive offerings.
Whilst not a “sports pub” per se, the landlord always goes the extra mile for large sporting events such as football & rugby cup competitions. The pub hosts a popular quiz night on a Sunday where arriving early is a must for those who want a seat.
The pub is served by bus routes 99 and 98 from Newcastle-under-lyme town centre.
